This Nekocon, I am debuting two more panels: because the convention occurs this year on Halloween weekend and the days after that (Nov 1-3), I decided for something a bit different than usual.
- Troubles of Translation: a panel focusing on translation, localization, perils and puns.
- “The Heart of Things” When They Cry: not just a fan panel, this examines ideas of “truth”, “magic”, “trust”, “love” in the Higurashi and Umineko stories of 07th Expansion’s When They Cry.
I’m not going to add these panels to my list until they’re successfully run, so keep an eye out – and if you’re going to Nekocon, please come and see!
